Designed for the cold, the Starston is insulative, moisture-wicking and waterproof. A merino wool interior, with terry-loop knitting, has strong thermal properties. Merino wool absorbs moisture away from the body, improving breathability. An engineered nylon blend exterior has similar moisture wicking properties, highlighting the cohesive functionality of the garment. The Starston’s Aquasealz™ membrane is 100% waterproof, sitting discretely in the mid-section of the sock. We don’t like complicated things. And when it comes to the care of your socks, we want to make it as simple as possible. This is the type of sock you can throw in the wash along with the rest of your gear. No need to line dry or wash with special detergents. Since the membrane is a solid barrier, you’ll never need to re-waterproof.
